Our school has adopted the Accelerated Reader program as a replacement for Eagle's Nest. Accelerated Reader is a program which awards students points for successfully completing comprehension tests for books which are part of the program. The amount of points a student receives depends on how accurately they answer multiple choice comprehension questions based on the book they chose to read. A list of books for which our school currently has quizzes is provided to the right.

Students who participate in the Accelerated Reader Program are eligible for an award if they reach a certain amount of points. Students are expected to track their reading on our SOAR forms whether or not the book they happen to be reading has a corresponding Accelerated Reader Quiz. SOAR forms are handed out in the classrooms each week, and in case they are lost, can be downloaded using the applicable links to the right.
