The Etiwanda School District is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of its employees by providing an environment free of violence or threats of violence and safeguarding all students, employees, and guests entering district property. The district prohibits and will not tolerate any form of workplace violence by any employee or third party, including vendors, visitors, parents, and students, either on district property or at district-sponsored events. The Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) supplements the district’s Comprehensive School Safety Plan (Education Code § 32281) and the general Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP, 8 CCR § 3203), addressing specific hazards and corrective measures for each work area.
