This summer, five dedicated Etiwanda educators had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Footsteps to Freedom tour!
The Footsteps to Freedom tour is a powerful journey that retraces the path to freedom taken by those escaping slavery via the Underground Railroad. Our educators visited historic sites, learned about the struggles and triumphs of freedom seekers, and gained deep insights into this crucial part of American history.
This experience enriches an understanding of history, enhances teaching, and allows teachers to bring powerful, first-hand knowledge back to their classrooms. It’s all about creating a more informed and empathetic learning environment for our students.
We're proud of our team and grateful for opportunities like this that inspire and empower our educators! #EtiwandaEducators #FootstepsToFreedom #ProfessionalDevelopment #HistoryMatters
