We have an exciting author event coming up that is fun-filled and supports our school libraries. On Saturday, March 2nd, Suzanne and Max Lang will be present at our Grumpy Monkey Author Event at Barnes & Noble in Rancho Cucamonga from 10:30 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. There will be fun activity stations, puzzles, and drawings. A percentage of in-store sales from this event will benefit our school libraries. Please feel free to reach out to library@etiwanda.org with any questions.

Happy Friday! Wishing you a weekend filled with smiles just like these 5th graders from Caryn Elementary!

Career Week at Falcon Ridge Elementary was a huge success! We loved seeing parents and community members engage with students, sharing insights into their professions. It's incredible to see our community come together to inspire the next generation!

We asked our elementary students to create a poster that showed how important attendance is to academic success! Here's the top poster from Etiwanda Colony Elementary. Don't forget to strive for 5 or fewer absences, be on time every day, and attend school all day.

Grapeland PTA and AAPEAC are getting high fives this Friday for putting together an amazing hands-on STEM night. They had a variety of local vendors, along with their own science guy, Mr. Edwards. They built and engineered with Legos, circuits, and gears, learning the science behind slime, and built models from toothpicks and marshmallows. They also learned about some influential scientists.

Terra Vista is giving Amber Claflin, our district librarian, a high five today for bringing amazing breakout boxes to their classes this past week. The students had a blast figuring out the puzzles

Jake Singhavong, known as Mr. Jake at Colony, is getting a high five today from Mrs. Bajenaru. Not only does he teach amazing SEL lessons, but he’s also a first-time author. He has taught her students breathing exercises and how to treat others with kindness and respect. Through the book he wrote and read to her class, her students learned about the Lao culture and language. Thank you, Mr. Jake!
