Mikal, a 5th grader from Terra Vista, is receiving a High Five from his MOM and brothers today! He received two awards in the arts two weeks in a row: Excellence in PTA Reflections for his literature piece 'Open Doors' and 'Outstanding Musician' in Band! Keep expressing yourself with your positive attitude and hard work, and you will continue to shine! We love you and are so proud of you!

Yesterday was the first set of intramural soccer games for our intermediate students, and the energy was electrifying! Shoutout to all the teams and their enthusiastic cheering sections. We're thrilled to announce that AAPEAC is awarding a special recognition to Ms. McCall, an exceptional teacher at Summit Intermediate! Ms. McCall embodies true dedication, always checking in on her students, greeting them with a warm smile, and fostering relationships that make students feel supported and empowered to succeed. We have an exciting author event coming up that is fun-filled and supports our school libraries. On Friday, April 19, 2024 Bess Kalb will be present at our Buffalo Fluffalo Author Event at Barnes & Noble in Rancho Cucamonga from 5:30-7:30 PM. There will be fun activity stations, puzzles, and drawings. A percentage of in-store sales from this event will benefit our school libraries. A huge shout-out to Heritage Intermediate and Mrs. Heinecke's EL UA class for an engaging 'Shark Tank' project-based learning opportunity! The students unleashed their creativity and presented some fantastic concepts.


Let's give Penny, a 2nd grader from Perdew Elementary, a big high five today! She recently rocked the ice at a figure skating competition in Thailand, taking first place in her age group and first place overall for her level! Way to go, Penny

Mrs. Izaguirre's 4th grade class is getting a huge high five today! They worked super hard and crushed their iReady Stretch Growth, acing the third assessment! Plus, they've chosen a class pet - meet Bowser, their adorable class hermit crab! Can you spot him?


Last week, Terra Vista hosted their annual multicultural event, and wow, what an incredible turnout! Timberwolves had the opportunity to immerse themselves in diverse cultures, expanding their horizons and fostering understanding.
