Kudos to Geetika Jain, an incredible librarian at East Heritage Elementary! 18 years ago, when she moved to the United States, it was a challenge to communicate – but Geetika wasn't discouraged. She worked hard to build her confidence and gain proficiency with English. She found that working in the Etiwanda School District helped her to learn about many different cultures and also spread knowledge of her own, which allowed her to feel a part of our accepting and supportive community.

Materials will be on display at every school site and the district office for the public to view until April 18, 2024. We encourage our educational partners to preview the material and submit feedback.

Mrs. Oberholtz, a TK teacher at Perdew Elementary, uses the Choose Well Program to teach character education to her students. Way to go, Mrs. Oberholtz.
