
In honor of the last week of school we are spotlighting some of our amazing Etiwanda alumni! Meet Megan, a proud product of Golden Elementary & Day Creek Intermediate. Currently, she's student teaching at Windrows Elementary, where she is guiding our future scholars.


What a perfect way to begin our last week of school by honoring Mr. Lautenslager, the principal at Windrows. His leadership has made an incredible impact on his students, staff, and families. We wish him all the best in his new adventures, and we know he will be greatly missed on campus.


On Friday, May 24th, Barnes & Noble is hosting a Pajama Party with Katy Farina from 5:00-8:00 p.m.! They have generously partnered with ESD on this event, offering our libraries the opportunity to earn a percentage of the sales from the event.


Exciting update! This week, we're thrilled to present the poster entries from John Golden Elementary. Numerous talented 5th graders participated in the Annual Cucamonga Valley Water District Poster Contest. Remember to check back every Friday as we highlight three entries from each school.




The Johnson family is sending a high five to the admin team at Summit Intermediate! Mrs. Kelley, Mr. Kuramata, and Mrs. Lara are phenomenal. Their consistent communication, positive role modeling, and genuine smiles make them gems in the Etiwanda District. We're so lucky to have them!


A big high five to the Clouds/Speech Team at Grapeland! Their dedication and expertise shine through in the excellent care and instruction they provide to every student. Grapeland is truly fortunate to have such an amazing team shaping young minds.


Drew J. is enthusiastically sending a big high five to Mrs. Steiner at Falcon Ridge Elementary! Her tremendous positive influence has been felt not only by Drew but also by his classmates. Drew feels fortunate to have had her as a teacher and would love to have her next year.

Ben J. is giving a shoutout to Mrs. DeAngelo at Falcon Ridge Elementary! Ben's 3rd-grade experience wouldn't be the same without her incredible support, encouragement, and fantastic accents during storytime. She's a true gem who fosters a love for reading and helps students reach their stretch goals. Falcon Ridge is fortunate to have her shaping young minds!


Shoutout to the amazing fourth graders at Golden who read a million or more words this year! They were honored at the Millionaire Breakfast, and we couldn't be prouder of their hard work and dedication. Keep shining, young readers!


Jack J. is sending a high five to Ms. Meltreger for an incredible journey over the last 3 years! She not only has a heart of gold, but also patience, creativity, compassion, and a ‘we’ve got this’ attitude, which is hard to maintain in middle school. Ms. Mel has fostered a fabulous STARS program, first at Heritage Intermediate and now at Summit Intermediate. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Thanks to her perseverance and encouragement, Jack is reading, counting money, working the STARS coffee cart, and making friends all over campus. Thank you for being you, Ms. Mel!


Miss Shoemaker is getting a high five today for being a DEDICATED and INVESTED guest teacher at Heritage Intermediate School! She has shown great work ethic, excellent classroom management, and is trustworthy with our students and lesson plans. Miss Shoemaker builds meaningful connections with teachers and students through her positivity and kindness.


We're thrilled to announce that AAPEAC is awarding a special recognition to Mrs. Wayne and Mr. Cobb, principals at Lightfoot Elementary. Their commitment to their school, community, and most of all, their kids is appreciated. They are always available and willing to honor AAPEAC's vision. We appreciate their voices and support.

Ms. Connor from Grapeland Elementary is shaping digital leaders! Integrating digital literacy into her lessons, she empowers students with skills for responsible online behavior, internet safety, critical thinking, and privacy protection.


Meet Scarlett, Solorio's standout student in extracurricular pursuits. She clinched victory at the 2023 E3Fun Run 5K and holds a two-stripe grey belt in Jujitsu, aiming for yellow next. For nearly three years, Scarlett's strength has shone through rigorous training and spirited competitions in Jujitsu, baseball, soccer, and basketball, showcasing dynamic athleticism. Beyond sports, she embodies excellent traits—respect, responsibility, and kindness—toward staff and peers. Her competitive spirit and infectious smile light up every endeavor she tackles!
